Today we celebrated Lily's first Birthday with our family. We will have a family dinner on Thursday on the actual day of her birthday but today was a fun day with all of Lily's cousins. Lily did not know what to think of the cake. She is doing so well with everything and has new tricks for us daily. Last night she was really walking, like 6 steps at a time and it was just adorable! Now that she is almost 1 we thought it was time to say goodbye to that very early 4am bottle. The first night went smoothly but the second night she was defiantly looking for it. I always say it takes three nights to change habits so I think we will have one more tough night and then she will forget all about it; at least that is what I am really hoping for! oh my word! Can she be any cuter!?!?! She & my Lily are "cute-ness twins"!!! I am so happy we both had our LID-versary with our girls this year .. Thank you, Lord!!!!

Congratulations to Lily and Mommy and Daddy. You had an awfully long wait, but I'm sure those dark days are all but forgotten. Love the ladybug cake and looking forward to our next get-together.
